​Summer Clinic with Corrie Frias

Corrie Frias is a full time competitive figure skating coach and hockey power skating coach based out of California. She had a competitive career ending at the novice level in the Southwest Pacific region of USFS, injury eventually ended her training after passing her Sr MITF and Jr Freeskate. After nearly two years apprenticeship under a master rated coach with the Professional Skaters Association, Corrie began her full time coaching with focus on proper edge techniques and off ice training. A background in personal training and Mental Peak Performance from Brian Cain, Corrie likes to take a whole body approach to skating and encourages people of all ages to join in the fun that is figure skating. 14 years of coaching experience has given the opportunity to work with skaters of all levels from ISI tots all the way through USFSA elite levels including skaters who progressed on to join the Team USA National Development Teams. She enjoys working alongside other coaches as a primary or secondary coach using her specialties to help skaters reach their recreational and competitive goals.
