CURRENTLY NOT TAKING ON NEW PRIVATE LESSON STUDENTS
I started skating as an adult skater at 48 years old. Since that time I have achieved my Moves in the Field Adult Gold and my Freeskate Adult Silver. I have participated in many competitions and have been coaching group and private lessons for four years. I love teaching all ages and levels. My skaters have competed in USFSA competitions and participated in summer camps in Sun Valley. I believe skating should be fun and safe.

Shelbi Paulson
(307) 360-7673
$20 per half-hour lesson
Shelbi fell in love with figure skating at the age of 7 and has been on the ice ever since. She skated with the WRSC through high school, then continued her skating journey with the club in Laramie before returning to Pinedale. She has passed Pre-Bronze in Skating Skills and Bronze in Partnered Ice Dance.
As a coach, Shelbi is passionate about making figure skating a fun and positive experience for all skaters. She focuses on building a strong foundation through knowledge, efficiency, and fundamental skills. Her favorite moments are the “firsts”- the milestones that mark a young skater’s growth and excitement.
She’s looking forward to all the joy and progress this skating season will bring!

Darbie Paulson
(307) 749-3339
$25 per half-hour lesson
Darbie began skating at the age of 3 and continued through the age of 18. She skated throughout high school and, at just 16 years old, became a coach, teaching Snowplow Sam and Basic 1–2 classes. While she stopped skating competitively when she left for college, she still enjoys getting on the ice for fun whenever she can.
Darbie has passed her Pre-Bronze Skating Skills and brings years of experience and a love for the sport to every lesson. As a coach, her goal is to help skaters feel comfortable and confident on the ice while developing strong skating skills. She also believes that growth happens when skaters step outside their comfort zones in a supportive environment, and most importantly, have fun along the way. After all, that's what skating is all about!
And yes, Darbie is the coach who jump ropes on the ice! (Don't worry, though—she won't be teaching anyone to jump rope on the ice. She mastered jump roping off the ice years before ever trying it on skates!)

Josie Harmon
Josie is a senior in high school who started skating at age 4. Through the years she has participated in many competitions, ice shows, and tested to further her skating level and experience. She had passed her Bronze Skating Skills and her Preliminary Free skate. As she has grown up skating with the Wind River Skate Club, she has also found a passion for sharing her love for the sport with other skaters.
